I'm Special - Nefa's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Meet NEFA, she was rescued from a Sacramento shelter. Her family had to give her up for housing reasons. Their new rental agreement did not allow pets.
She is part of our "I'm Special" group of dogs within our rescue. Each of our "I'm Special" dogs' adoption fee is $40. What makes Nefa special is that she has been waiting patiently for a home for a long time. We don't know why because she is a sweet, loving dog.
Since being in foster care, she has blossomed, she is quiet in the house and is housebroken. Just an all around good dog.
Nefa would do well around respectful school ages kids. She currently is fostered with a senior Doberman. They are fine together. However she does like to be alpha. So we prefer she be an only dog. We are working with leash manners with her as she can pull on the leash. We do recommend obedience classes for her.
She loves the water and outdoor activities. She loves to please and will benefit from a family that includes her in their weekend and or daily outings.
Nefa is 4 years old and weighs around 70 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccines.
