April's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
April is a year old. She originally was adopted from us when her name was Google. She was just a young puppy weaned from her mother when adopted. Her mother was a Jack Russell-Poodle mix. The family that had the mom didn't know who the dad was. We think he must have been a Chihuahua.
The mother of the adoptive family had medical issues, which is why they returned April to us. They also stated that the children in the home were not very nice to April, making her fearful.
April is house trained and crate trained. She has been with us for about a month now and has really blossomed. She loves playing with other dogs and adores her foster mom. She is not shy around her home, that is for sure!
April is very agile and quick on her feet. Loves to run, loves to jump and loves to just get outside and be happy! She also loves coming indoors for some cuddle time on foster mom's lap. She would enjoy a family that loves doing what she loves. Older, well behaved children should be fine.
She will bark at cats, most likely would chase, so if there is a cat in the home, plan for socialization and training.
An awesome dog with personality plus!
