Jake's Story
Jake is a 15-month old Shepherd mix we rescued from Sacramento. He is super sweet and full of love.
- Very sweet boy who just wants to give and get affection
- House trained and can be trusted loose in the home
- Great with other dogs, submissive with dominant pups. Would love another dog in the home
- Working on leash manners, though loves to go for walks. Would make a great running companion!
- Doing great with training: Knows Sit, Down, Heel, Come, Crate, Shake/Hand
- Loves to ride in the car
- Would do best in a home with no small children (he still has a gangly puppy body and currently scares easily)
Jake was adopted, but was returned to us because he was afraid of the teenage boy in the home. Overall he is currently fearful of loud noises (that lawnmower is scary!), and men. He'll need a home that will work with him on these things. Jake will pay you back with tons of unconditional love. Adoption fee: $325, includes neuter and current vaccinations.
