Little Prince T.'s Story
Little Prince is an 11 year old male German Shepherd that was being held at the West LA Shelter in S. Cal. Little Prince is emaciated and weighs about 40 lbs. His target weight should be more like 50+ lbs so he is receiving multi helpings of soft food to help him put on a few lbs.
Little Prince walks like a dream on leash. As you can see in the video link below he walks and trots real well and shows allot of agility. He also rides beautifully in the car and settles right down in his crate. And at only 40-50 lbs Little Prince will not hurt your back if you want to help him into your vehicle. He may be one of the very few ``Pocket`` German Shepherds you will find.
While at the shelter we watched him interact with two other dogs and all was very relaxed, easy tail wag, nice nose sniffing through fence and then finally it seems the Little Prince became disinterested and walked away. Also, as he walked alongside other kennels we saw no signs of reaction from him to the other dogs that were barking.

We are still learning more about Little Prince so we will be updating his bio with more details as we learn them.
Little Prince has been accepted into the GSRNC Thulani Program and is headed to a Thulani Foster home where he will receive lots of the normal comforts of home as he settle in. The Thulani Program will also see that he receives updated vaccinations and other medical care necessary to his well being. In addition, The Thulani Program is starting a search for his next adoptive home that will care for him for the rest of his life. He will also come with a supply of food, a cushy pad if wanted, and other goodies such as toys.
