Molly T's Story
Molly T is a 10 year old German Shepherd that came to the Thulani Program from S. California where she was surrendered to a local shelter by her owner. After spending 10 years with the family Molly seems to be wondering why she was abandoned. Despite this abrupt goodbye she still loves people... and when she meets someone, she will often politely offer a paw as if to ask... can we be friends? (See picture below)
She has now spent a week building confidence at Cooperhaus K9, training in obedience and working on her dog socialization skills freely in a pack.
Molly is good with other dogs, walks great on leash, and has the character to match her special docked tail - CUTE!
She is now living with a foster family with 2 other GSDs (both males) and they are all getting along well. Molly is able to eat her meals in the same space with the other dogs without issues. She also plays with them and has established herself in the same pack/family.
Molly would be a great addition to any family with or without other dogs. She is extremely affectionate and obedient.
Since we are still learning about Molly we will update her bio as we learn more.
Molly T. has been accepted into the GSRNC Thulani Program where she will receive more than her fair share of care and attention. The Thulani Program is dedicated to rescuing senior or terminally ill German Shepherds that are in danger of not being able to live out and enjoy their golden years... often do to lack of care or neglect from their owners.
Molly has now been placed in a Foster home where she will receive lots of love and pampering. Along with TLC, the Thulani Program will also see that Molly receives updated vaccinations and other medical care necessary to her well being. In addition, as we learn more about Molly, we are looking for Molly`s next adoptive home that will care for her for the rest of her life; in warmth and in love. Molly will come with a supply of food, a cushy pad if wanted, and other goodies such as toys.
Molly’s medical expenses will also be covered for the rest of her life by The Thulani Program!
