Romeo's Story
Romeo is a very sweet dog, and loves being on your lap so much, that he will jump right up on it. He gets along well with his foster home`s other dogs, and tried to play with one, but since he still has an e-collar on from the neuter surgery, it was difficult for him to play. Romeo eats well, and loves treats for good behavior. He is mostly house trained, but may need a little more work, since this is a new environment for him. He took a one mile walk with his foster mom with her mobility scooter, and did great. He slept in a crate next to his foster mom`s bed and slept through the night. Romeo will be a fantastic best friend for a loving family.
If you are interested in meeting Romeo, please go to our website and complete an adoption application.
Adoption Process:Once an adoption counselor receives and approves your application, they will contact you (only if you match the animal`s needs) to set up an appointment to meet the dog you applied for and/or any of the other dogs in the rescue. If the dog you applied for is not a good match for your particular situation, there might be others that are better matches.
Adoption Fees:The adoption fee for dogs under a year of age is $320 and $300 for dogs at least 1 year or older. Adoption fees allow WOOF Animal Rescue to continue to provide care and medical treatment (including spay/neuter services) for dogs while we look for their forever homes. The fees also helps cover the ongoing costs of caring for less adoptable dogs that require longer stays in the rescue, or more advanced medical treatment before finding their forever homes.
