Comet(urgent foster home need)'s Story
URGENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED!!!!!
Comet is two years old English bulldog. She can be shy at first so it may take a minute to warm up to people but once she does she will bond quickly with anyone who loves and gives her attention. Comet will benefit with a family that will continue to work on her leash manners and basic training. No kids under 12 as she does not realize her weight when she gets excited! She is not aggressive but can be protective of her home. She will need a family that has large dog experience, and she will do better with a home has no other dogs.
She walks great on a leash but will pull when she sees another dog. Comet loves her car rides, daily walks and playing with her toys. She thinks she is a lap dog and loves her back scratched and her belly rubbed. She sleeps on the floor on her doggie bed and also enjoys the comfort of the couch.
Shes walked every morning and most evenings. She lives with an outdoor cat she has never tried to chase so a dog savvy cat may be an option.
Comet adoption fee is $300. The adoption fee allows WOOF Animal Rescue to continue to provide care and medical treatment (including spay/neuter services) for dogs like her while we look for our forever homes. This fee also helps cover the ongoing costs of caring for less adoptable dogs that require longer stays in the rescue, or more advanced medical treatment before finding their forever homes.
If you are interested in meeting me, please go to our website and complete an adoption application at: www.lovewoof.com . Once our adoption counselor receives and approves your application, they will contact you (only if you match my needs) to set up an appointment to meet Comet and/or any of the other dogs in the rescue, which dog may be best for your particular situation, if it’s not me.
WOOF Animal Rescue, in Fremont CA, does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations and rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed, etc.
