Misty *'s Story

To know MISTY is to love her. She's a sweet girl, smart and huggable. While affectionate, she's not needy. She likes to explore. Hiking is one of her favorite things to do. Her enthusiasm is infectious :)
We believe that Misty is housetrained. She knows her sit command, though she prefers to get a treat to show it off. She has a very nice calm energy once she's settled in. She's had quite a tough life for the last year so she gets a bit worried when things are uncertain, but she's done well rebonding in several situations. She is resilient and will do well once she finds that committed family.
Misty came into the shelter with Shepie and seems to do ok with other dogs. She likes to run and play with Shepie and makes alot of noise, but its all in good fun. She has an air of self confidence about her. We've not seen her around cats but she does have some prey drive so probably better not to live with kitties.
UPDATE: Shepie has been adopted, and Misty is a little blue, but taking it pretty well. We have our fingers crossed she'll find her own home soon!
Misty is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations.
