I have been helping my co-workers who run the Hounds of Hope Rescue and have loosely been named, `the pit bull division` of HOH. We rescued Petey from certain death at the Lancaster Shelter, as he had been hit by a car where he suffered a broken pelvis and was just biding time in there. After walking by his cage, we couldn`t leave this little guy in there. Petey is approximately 2.5 years old now, is neutered and he`s current on all his shots. I have been fostering him off and on for over a year, but I have 2 of my own pitties in a duplex, so I would love to find him his forever home. I would say no to cats, small dogs and small children, as he thinks he’s a lapdog himself. He just loves people! He weighs 50lbs, but has long legs. Has had basic training, which I would recommend he continue. He should definitely have boundaries.
