Daisy had a tough past and was rescued from the edge of death at the Long Beach shelter with her has sweet and affectionate nature intact. She’s a little pocket pittie and perfect pup for a first time pibble owner as she is low energy, highly affectionate and very attuned to her people. Her ideal day is 1-2 casual strolls through the neighborhood, a short play session and tons of cuddles and naps on the couch. Sweet Daisy has no separation anxiety and will happily wait in her crate until you get home. Daisy is a great favorite with the neighborhood kids. She adores them and is very gentle and affectionate. She knows her basic commands and is very treat motivated, making training a breeze. Daisy would be best as an only fur baby given how much affection she wants but can co-habitate with a compatible, mellow dog. She currently has a foster sister. No cats please, as she is too curious and will chase them. Daisy is perfect on leash, does not pull and stays by her people. She is not leash reactive but rude dogs (especially small barky dogs) will get her attention. She is easily distracted from the barking dog by a firm sit command and the presence of treats. If you are the happily ever after that Daisy deserves after her horrific start in life, please contact Joey Trachtman ([email protected]) for an application and opportunity to meet this darling.
