Meet Piper! This petite girl was rescued from a high kill shelter. She was brought into the shelter with a broken leg. Our rescue went to the shelter to save a different dog, but when we saw her and learned about her story, we couldn`t leave her behind. She had a significant fracture on her front left leg and a cast was put on. After a couple of months her leg was x rayed again and her cast came off! She has been doing very well since and her leg is completely healed. Piper is a Deer Chihuahua and they have long, fragile legs. She is about 7-8 lbs. We think she is about 3 years old. She is a very friendly, playful girl. She is great with other dogs and cats. She is good with kids, but a home with no small children would be best for her just because of how fragile this breed can be. She is a little lap dog and is so much fun to be around. She is doing well with using pee pads, but will still need some continued work with house training. She is a total doll and we really love her!!
Piper has been spayed, microchipped, completely vaccinated, dewormed and treated for fleas and ticks.
