Rambo is an extra large serving of sweet with a heaping side of handsome! His family turned him in to their local shelter, where he stayed for months... managing to avoid the euthanasia list because of his charm and loving spirit. When his time came, we had to step in.This big boy, just under 100 pounds, was missing half of his hair when he arrived at the shelter. They cared for his flea dermatitis and his silky coat started to grow back. Rambo really enjoys his walks around the neighborhood and could go for miles, flashing his million dollar smile at passersby. Just about 7 years old, he's still got spunk and enjoys playing in the yard with the large female dogs. When you've got it, you've got it!
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
