This is a story about a true act of love. Your heart has to go out to Buddy's story. His prior owner lost everything she had and was forced to live out of her car. She turned Buddy in to the shelter, but then learned that they would euthanize him. She desperately searched for a rescue to help, paid the fees to bail him out and got him to us to find him a home that could provide him the environment he needs and deserves. He's a big, strong boy, but also a real teddy bear and shook on the car ride with our transporter because he was scared and confused about what was going on. His whole world has been turned upside down. He's a German Shepherd/Rottweiler/Lab mix and is good with all! Would he be a good fit for your home?
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
