Parker's Story
Pearl, Peter and Parker are approximately 10-12 week old puppies that all came from a very rural part of Texas by the Mexico border. We don't believe they're related but they definitely act like siblings! Pearl is the smallest of the 3 and the only female. She is a wirehair/yorkie mix and only weighs about 5 lbs. We don't believe she will get over 12-15 lbs full grown. Pearl is very timid and needs a home that offers TLC. A more quiet home would be best for her. She doesn't mind cats or other dogs. Loud children are a bit scary so someone wanting a lap doggy would be great. Peter is the black chi mix male. He's only about 9 lbs and we don't believe he will get over 20-23 lbs full grown as he is staying quite small. Peter is friendly and a medium active level. He loves to run around the yard and play with other doggies and doesn't mind the outside cats. He would do well with well behaved children and a medium active household. Parker is as sweet, loving and goofy as they come. He's a heeler mix and weighs about 12 lbs. He is super friendly and would make a wonderful family dog. Parker loves everyone he meets and will greet you and any stranger with tail wags and kisses. These babies will make wonderful dogs for the perfect families. All adoption fees include current negative hw test if old enough, current age appropriate vaccines including rabies, parvo/distemper, lepto, bordatella, current heart worm and flea/tick preventions, lifetime registered microchip, 2 dewormers and transport costs from Texas to the East Coast. PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: Www.ruraltank.org/adopt We process applications as first come, first serve so we suggest you fill out an application as soon as possible as we can receive quite a few per animal. If you submit an inquiry that questions something answered in this bio, we will not respond due to high volume of inquiries. ALL OF OUR ANIMALS ARE LOCATED IN SOUTH TEXAS. They are posted in areas where we transport to ONCE ADOPTED. 95% of our animals are pre adopted prior to transport, if you want to do a meet and greet with an animal in person we suggest going to a local shelter as we probably will not be able to offer that. Once approved though us, we will put you in contact with the foster family that has your animal to learn more about them! We transport every few weeks, TBD. Application turn around is usually about 1-3 days max, if not sooner. After you submit an application and want to send additional information or pictures of current animals/past ones in a separate email, we love that and it always helps your chances :)
