Willie's Story
Meet Willie: ?Willie is a sweet, 2-year-old, neutered, Terrier mix. He came to Dogma from a hoarding situation with another adult dog and puppies. Willie is crate trained and sleeps all night in it next to his foster's bed. If you want to sleep in, no problem, he will get up when you want to. Willie is potty trained and will go to the door to be let out. In his new home he will likely need some time to adjust, so he should be taken out regularly until he has an established a routine. Willie is being fostered with other dogs and cats. He loves the dogs and would probably love to be adopted to a home with another sweet dog. Willie will chase cats, but could likely live with a dog savvy cat who won't run. Willie hasn't been around children, but with his sweet and docile demeanor, would probably be fine with respectful and gentle children. Willie is very shy and can also be skittish at times. He is so loving and wants to please, but gets nervous when taken out of his foster home. When visitors come to the house, he greets them sweetly and seeks out attention, but will shake and hide in his foster mom's arms in public. He has been on the leash a couple of times and still gets nervous, but with time will probably love his walks! Willie would love a home with a patient adopter who can give him lots of TLC, and time to bloom. We also think having another dog in the home will help him to gain confidence. Because Willie is so shy, we feel a private meeting at the foster family's home would be the best way to see what a fabulous dog he is. Email your application for Willie to [email protected].
