Teddy's Story
Meet Teddy! Teddy is currently fostered in Texas. He is available for out of state adoption to the perfect forever home. Transportation to his forever home will be facilitated by our rescue. We're so excited to welcome this perfect Mini Schnauzer/Rat Terrier litter into our care. Teddy and his siblings were an accidental litter due to failure to spay/neuter resident dogs. When the family could no longer care for Teddy and his siblings, we were contacted to step in. Teddy is a BEAUTIFUL 2/3 month old Rat Terrier/Miniature Schnauzer mix (DOB 11/9/23). He has 1 beautiful blue eye, making him very unique! At only 4/5 pounds, Teddy is quite little! His parents are only about 15/20 pounds each. Teddy is goofy, social, playful, and energetic! He bounds around playing with his siblings and foster family! Teddy would benefit from another canine sibling to keep him busy and to keep him company! He loves to play! Teddy is good with other dogs. Although he has not been exposed to cats, we expect that with a proper introduction and continued positive socialization, he can live harmoniously with a feline friend! Teddy and his siblings would also be great with children - but we kindly request that children be over the age of 10 years old. We are looking for a dedicated person, couple, or family to spoil Teddy - but those who will also have the time and patience to dedicate to potty training, crate training, and basic obedience and socialization, which is key for every puppy as they mature!
