Therese's Story
Mama Pearl had her 10 puppies while in the care of our rescue. The benefit to this is that the puppies are carefully monitored for nutrition, weight, socialization and age appropriate medical needs. Mama Pearl was going to be euthanized in a shelter when she was near labor. We are in Texas, but we love sending our rescue dogs to other US states! Travel with a USDA Health Certificate to most US cities is available for an additional $300 fee. Our dogs over 6 months of age have been vaccinated, dewormed spay/neutered and microchipped! In rare circumstances, a dog may not be spayed/neutered for health reasons. In this case, it will be clearly explained to the adopters and proper care will be understood by adopters. Puppies too young for spay/neuter at the time of adoption will be required to be spay/neutered at 6 months at the adopter's expense. The microchip will be transferred to adopter at this time. The adoption fee for this pet will enable us to finance our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Many of our rescue dogs have high medical expenses. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals as possible out of south Texas, where there is a severe pet overpopulation crisis. Breed: We are an animal welfare organization, and we do our best to estimate the breed based on our experience and research. We do not guarantee the breed and/or size expectation of the puppy in our Petfinder ads. If you are interested in adopting, please follow the steps below! First step is to fill out an adoption application: Adoption Application: https://form.jotform.com/220167149028150 (Copy & paste link in your browser) We are grateful for the time it takes to complete the application. We read each and every one, but we are only 2 people with full time jobs, therefore, we aren't able to respond to every applicant....but we try.
