Duke's Story
I’m Duke, the absolute sweetest pup around. I came into rescue with Dutchess (my sister) and Lady (my mom) who are both up for adoption as well (see separate bios). I’m still pretty little, so I am looking for a home who is dedicated to helping me learn to be the bestest dog as I grow. I enjoy playing with my sister and toys, but also get overwhelmed sometimes with my mom’s play strategies and love the comfort of burrowing in blankets or my crate as a den. Some might call me cautious, but I prefer to say snuggly and comfortable. Hey, who can blame me for having a set bedtime? I will do well in a home with or without other dogs (though I might need a slow introduction and safe dens if I feel overwhelmed by the play). My mama is around 60 lbs, so we think these little ones might get large as well. Breed and expected weight are estimates though. The puppies might make a fun DNA test! Duke is currently being fostered with his mom and sister in Houston, Texas, but is available for transport to many locations.
