Hank's Story
HI! My name is Hank and this is how I became a Destination Rescue dog... One day, our owners brought us to a parking lot. There were 9 of us, and one by one I saw my brothers and sisters get handed off to strangers until there were 3 of us left- myself, Dottie, and June. This lady and her husband stopped in and asked what they would do with us if they couldn't sell us and our owner said they would leave us in the parking lot. So this nice lady said she worked with a rescue and would take us home and she did. I had never been in a house before, our owners kept us outside. This woman said we needed to be vaccinated and dewormed because our owners didn't take good care of us. So she helped us get healthy and she says we are ready to find families of our own now! Isn't that exciting?! Our previous owners said my mom was a blue heeler cattle dog, but my foster mom said we don't look like that. We are probably mixed with a lot of cool things. A DNA test would be fun to do to see what it says! I LOVE to play with my siblings. We have other foster brothers and sisters as well and I just love playing with dogs of all sizes! I love to cuddle and to play with balls and squeaky toys. I am also SUPER treat motivated. I haven't found a treat that I did NOT like!!! I love kids, they are fun to play with. I haven't been around very young children, but I should be fine. I am teething so, so I hope my future family understands that I am still a puppy and I have a lot to learn. I am learning to use pee pads indoors. My foster mom says I am very smart for my age. Our foster home is in Houston TX but we can be transported anywhere. I have two sisters, Dottie and June also! My sister Dottie just got adopted, so June and I are still looking for our forever families! We hope that someone will see our post and give us all a loving home.
