Joey's Story
Sweet Joey is a 9 week old Lab mix who came into our program from an under-resourced shelter that was at capacity. He is an absolute sweetheart of a puppy - loves everyone he meets, really loves being held. He will follow you anywhere and everywhere and has a velcro personality. Joey is currently being raised in a foster home with other dogs, cats and kids. This puppy is currently located near Jackson MS and is available to be transported up North. This transport leaves Mississippi on May 17th and travels to the following dropoff locations that weekend: Wytheville VA, Hagerstown MD, Allentown PA, Mahwah NJ, Enfield CT, Brattleboro VT and Brattleboro VT. This puppy's adoption fee is $150 (total) which includes vetting and transport up north. Our adoption fees are lower than other organizations thanks to generous donors. Prior to arrival at your home this puppy be vetted with: 2-3 sets of DAPPV vaccines, kennel cough vaccination and rabies vaccine if old enough. They will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on flea/tick/heartworm preventative. All animals travel with a health certificate issued by a state licensed veterinarian.
