Dilly's Story
A lot of Sugar and Spice and 7 things nice… our seasonings are ready for their forever homes! Sage, Paprika, Pepper, Sugar, Cinnamon, Dill and Jasmine are some adorable little pups that weigh about 6 lbs as of 5/14/24. They were surrendered to a rural animal control, where they were at risk for euthanasia when we got word of them. Unfortunately, we do not know who the parents are, but we estimate they were born around March 6-13th. We believe they are dachshund, corgi, chihuahua, potentially a little bit of beagle. Based on their current age and weight, we estimate they will be around 25 lbs when full grown. They won’t be super small, but not overly big either. These babies are SOOO sweet and SOOO loving. They love to roll on their backs and get lots of belly rubs. When you stop, they squirm all over to try and get more. If you don’t give more then they jump up and stand on their back legs to beg you for more love. They may kiss and lick you all over, be aware. While we do not know where these puppies came from, they are so well socialized and such amazing little babies. They do not have a mean bone in their body. They all do GREAT with kitties and have met the fosters and have no issues. They love other dogs too! They’d do wonderful with children as they are very friendly and playful. They play hard and nap hard. If you let them, they’ll sleep in your lap or as close to you as they’re able. Our spices are some of the best and sweetest puppies we’ve had in the rescue. They are all wonderful babies and will do fantastic in all types of households. All adoption fees include current negative hw test if old enough, current age appropriate vaccines including rabies, parvo/distemper, bordatella, current heart worm and flea/tick prevention, lifetime registered microchip, 2 dewormers and transport costs from Texas to the East Coast. PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: Www.ruraltank.org/adopt We process applications as first come, first serve so we suggest you fill out an application as soon as possible as we can receive quite a few per animal. If you submit an inquiry that questions something answered in this bio, we will not respond due to high volume of inquiries. ALL OF OUR ANIMALS ARE LOCATED IN SOUTH TEXAS. They are posted in areas where we transport to ONCE ADOPTED. 95% of our animals are pre adopted prior to transport, if you want to do a meet and greet with an animal in person we suggest going to a local shelter as we probably will not be able to offer that. Once approved though us, we will put you in contact with the foster family that has your animal to learn more about them! We transport every few weeks, TBD. Application turn around is usually about 1-3 days max, if not sooner. After you submit an application and want to send additional information or pictures of current animals/past ones in a separate email, we love that and it always helps your chances :)
