Daisy's Story
Daisy is currently fostered in Baltimore, MD - but is available for out of area/out of state adoption to the perfect family! Transportation to her forever home can be coordinated by our rescue. +++ Meet Daisy, the tiny heart-stealer! Just 7-8 weeks old, this mixed breed pup is one of nine miracles born to a mom rescued from the brink at a high-kill shelter. Daisy is all about the cuddles and kisses, boasting a calm demeanor that's sure to melt hearts. She’s eagerly awaiting a home where an older canine sibling can teach her all about doggy decorum. Daisy is currently fostered with her mama and all of her siblings! We find it essential for her to be adopted into a home with another canine companion to teach her the ropes, keep her busy, and most importantly, to keep her company! Daisy has not been exposed to cats or young children, but at her age and with her gentle disposition, we feel that with proper introductions and continued exposure, she can live comfortably with both! At such a young age, Daisy is an empty canvas! An adoptive family should understand their responsibility in helping Daisy mature into a well-behaved and well-socialized pup! Patience when adopting a puppy is also key! At only 7/8 weeks old, Daisy is not yet potty trained and will require a family willing to move through the 'puppy motions!' Daisy dreams of a yard where she can tumble and play to her heart's content, but more than anything, she's searching for a human family to shower her with love—and let’s be honest, resisting her charm is futile! She and her siblings are being lovingly fostered in Maryland but are gearing up for their big move. In a few weeks they'll be ready to pack their bags and head off to their forever homes, transportation courtesy of our diligent rescue team. Could you be the family that Daisy is waiting for? If so, get ready for endless affection and puppy antics that will fill your home with joy. Daisy currently weighs around 8 pounds, but we expect her to grown into a medium-sized dog once fully grown (45-60 pounds). +++++++ ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://form.jotform.com/210515484620146 +++++++ Once we have received your application, we will review and reach out to set-up an interview with one of our volunteers!
