Freddie's Story

All dogs on our website ARE available and require an approved Best Friend Pet Adoption application before you can be considered or meet any of our dogs. When Freddie and his siblings were rescued from the shelter, they all sang "We Are The Champions". He let his foster know that he is looking for "Somebody To Love" and is hoping that is YOU! He is a cuddly, friendly puppy who will soon be leaving his momma's side and looking for his forever home. His Mom knows that "This Crazy Little Thing Called Love" will live on with Freddie in his new home. Who can resist this bundle of joy? Freddie is the smallest of the litter and has a sensitive side to his awesome personality. One of his favorite songs is "We Will Rock You" and he is quite sure that he can do just that in your life! His momma, Maddy, is a 32 lb mix dog who is also pictured above. We feel that her puppies will be her size or maybe a bit larger. She will also be available for adoption soon. Approved applicants can meet Freddie now but he can't start a trial adoption until after his first vet exam and set of vaccines. He will be ready to start an adoption trial Saturday August 3rd. He is packing up his toys already and is getting ready for his next adventure in life! NOTE: Freddie cannot live in a multi family building without his own dedicated yard. He is still susceptible to diseases. He cannot go anywhere in public and must stay only in his adopters home and yard until his second set of vaccines. So he needs a dedicated safe place to be outside where other unknown dogs have not walked. Puppies may nibble, bite and mouth so may not be appropriate for very young children unless they have had experience around dogs/puppies. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Freddie was born at a shelter after his momma was picked up as a stray. Best Friend Pet Adoption quickly rescued both the momma and her 4 puppies. They are all safe now and will live the rest of their lives in loving homes. Maybe you can open your home for one of these lucky puppies. Applicants for puppies should ideally live 30 minutes from Cary NC (no further than one hour) since he must receive medical care in the Cary area. Best Friend Pet Adoption will cover all medical cost for until Freddie's adoption is finalized once he is neutered when he is around 6 months old. Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions. We therefore require applicants to live close to Cary NC.
