My name is Katie and like my name’s sake, I am in the water frequently. My foster Mom calls them baths, I think of them as pretraining for swimming. I have a foster sister who is helping me learn to play with all the toys. There is this game that’s called zoomies and it looks like a lot of fun, but I’m not quite ready for that yet. Although I do try! My ideal home is to have someone who can teach me to be the best puppy ever! I do like to explore and follow my foster sister (and snuggle with her), but I also am a helper for my foster Mom. I mean, those dishes need to be cleaner when put in the dishwasher don’t they? And that bit of fluff on the floor, someone needs to pick it up, right? After a hard day’s work, like the true athlete that I am, it’s all about the massages and belly rubs before bedtime for a good night’s sleep. I’m going to be a medium to large girl when I finish growing up, so I hope you have a big yard for me to run in and that you will take me on lots of adventures with you. Katie was born in July 2024 and is located in a foster home in Texas. OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.
