Born on July 11, 2024, Dopey may be a little shy at first, but once you hold her paw, you hold her heart. This gentle pup loves to play with her siblings and snuggle up in her comfy blankets for a cozy nap. Dopey’s story is one of resilience—rescued from a harsh environment where she and her siblings lived under sheds and abandoned cars in the scorching Texas heat. Infested with fleas and suffering from skin infections, these puppies needed urgent help. Thanks to the dedication of our fosters and medical team, Dopey has made an amazing transformation. Now healthy, happy, and ready to bond, she’s looking for a loving family to share her playful spirit and warm snuggles. Dopey is currently in a foster home in Texas, waiting for her forever home! OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.
