Lila Yorkie's Story
Lila is a 3-4 year, female, silver, yorkie who weighs 14lbs. She was an owner surrender and a dog who lived her entire life in a cage. She is nervous, hand shy, foot shy and insecure. She is probably not leash trained. She likes to watch you from “afar” and keeps her distance. Lila is a dog who would benefit from a quiet, one-on-one, foster home with a secure fenced yard. Her current foster mom keeps a leash on Lila so the foster mom can step on the leash when needed. Her foster mom also holds Lila, rubs her face and kisses her. Lila is not aggressive, not at all, just very withdrawn and shy. She seems to enjoy the attention once she calms down and feels no one os going to harm her. This is a dog who will blossom once she feels safe and loved. She is quiet and just observes what is going on. Please, let’s help Lila to overcome her very sad past. This dog was kept in an outside cage for her entire life. What a sweet girl. Adoption fee $400
