Peek-a-Boo's Story
Meet Peek-a-Boo! This sweet, gentle girl is ready to delight you with her expressive antics. She smiles and her facial markings make her look like she is surprised and excited all the time. Add in those speckled ears and adorable wagging lower half of her body, as she sort of army crawls towards you, and you have a canine companion that will always bring a smile to your face. Peek-a-Boo is around 4.5 months old and currently weighs 17lbs. We think that she’ll grow up to be a medium sized girl, we really don’t know what her breed mix is, but we do know that she’s beautiful! Peek-a-Boo is almost potty trained and is learning fast, she’s a smart cookie. Peek-a-Boo loves the company of other dogs. She is enjoying all the other dogs in her foster mom’s house but seems to gravitate towards dogs who are younger and around her size. She was found living in a field filled with trash with 3 siblings, so it makes sense she enjoys the company of dogs who might remind her of them. Peek-a-Boo is really enjoying learning to play with toys! Since she likely never had a chance to play before, we love seeing her discover the joy of toys. Peek-a-Boo also seems to really fit her name because she enjoys getting into “hiding” spaces, like the shelf of the coffee table or under the covers, and then popping out all happy to try and play. This little girl shows more of her personality every day, she will flourish into a wonderful dog with the help of a patient family and a doggie sibling.
