me's Story

*****We are Good Catch Dog Rescue. The dogs in our care are fostered by either ourselves or close friends. We are in Texas, and we transport our dogs North because TX is flooded with unwanted dogs already. All of our dogs are vaccinated and on preventatives. Dogs older than 6 months are spayed or neutered. Our dogs live with us, not in boarding, and they are part of our family. Please visit our website to learn more about our family and our dogs. Goodcatchdogrescue.org***** Born to his momma Sheila at our Good Catch farm on August 18th, Otto is the smallest of his 7 other littermates. He hasn't let his size dictate his personality however, this happy chappy is the first to make friends with visitors and is quite the dare devil when it comes to the puppy playground that we have in their yard. Otto turns 8 weeks old this week. He is a beautiful little boy both inside and out and his fur is wavy and on the medium length side. We see him growing to be around 35 pounds. The Parson Russell terrier is strong in this little fella. Otto will be ready to travel to his new family by the time he is 10 weeks. He'll have had 2 of his 4 required puppy shots by then and will still require a rabies vaccine at 12 weeks and a neuter when he reaches the appropriate age determined by your vet. Our foster dogs are spayed and neutered at the age of 6 months, we believe in letting their hormones feed their growth plates and will never sterilize a puppy younger than 5 months unless suggested by a veterinarian. We are looking for a family for Otto who can provide enrichment and socialization throughout his growing years. A home with a yard where he can romp and play and someone with previous experience in raising a young pup. A puppy this age cannot be left alone for long hours. He is not yet housetrained and will need someone with patience as he navigates a routine outside of his current lifestyle with all of his siblings. We transport our dogs up North and out of Texas. We use trusted partners to safely deliver them to their families. Our adoption fee is $350, and transport is an additional $300.
