Nena's Story
Nena is a tiny 3 pound 10 week old extremely sweet puppy from Texas. Given her petite stature, everything is bigger than her and is very scary. She likes the dog and cats in the home. She is very social. She has a heartbeat puppy toy, which has been a lifesaver as she adjusts to being separated from her littermates (she is very little). She finds the heartbeat toy to be calming and cuddles up with it. She is already very affectionate. She seems to be smart and alert. While she's not housetrained yet, she cries so for you to take her to the pee pee pad for relief. Once she has settled in, expect her to play with her toys. She's simply a precious puppy, who will grow to be an amazing pet. Current on age appropriate vaccinates for DHPP, bordetella, and microchipped. Due for DHPP and bordetella booster 11/25. Will need heartworm test when of age and weight. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Nena is scheduled for her spay and rabies vaccine on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Flatbush Veterinary Clinic. Should she be adopted before then, her adopters will be responsible for bringing her to and from this appointment. Waggytail Rescue will cover the cost of this neuter appointment but any other vet appointments will be the adopters responsibility.
