Cindy - Seeking Sponsors's Story
Cindy is available for sponsorship only. She is in a long term permanent foster home.
Meet six year old dog, cat, horse, and goat friendly Cindy. Cindy was rescued from the Orange County Animal Shelter. She ended up at the shelter, along with two other dogs, when their owner went into a hospital. The son of the owner brought all of his fathers dogs to the shelter. Cindy was scared and terrified and was not being shown to the public because she hid in the back of her kennel shaking in fear. Literally the minute she left the shelter and in the parking lot she transformed. She was wagging her tail and bonding with those who came to rescue her.
Cindy is a sweet girl who enjoys the company of other dogs. She bonds quickly with those who show her love and care. She is a special needs dog because she has "stranger danger fear" and is in a foster home that will work with her to get over her fear and keep her safely away from those she does not know and trust. She is also deaf. Her former owner was an elderly man who loved his dogs. Cindy has been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.
