Shayla's Story
Are you looking to add a furry little friend to your family? Look no further, because Shayla, the cute Pomeranian, is here to melt your heart! Despite having had limited one-on-one interaction in the past, Shayla is eager to learn and is quickly coming out of her shell. When Shayla first came into our care, she was shy and reserved, with little experience of human interaction. Shayla is more than willing to open up to new experiences. Shayla's gentle nature and adorable face make her the perfect addition to any family. Whether you're looking for a cuddle buddy to snuggle up with on the couch or a playful pal to go on adventures with, Shayla fits the bill. Her small size and friendly demeanor make her a great companion for both adults and children alike. Shayla will need basic command and house training by her adoptive family. While Shayla may have had a less than stellar start, she is a quick learner and is eager to please. With the right guidance and training, she will flourish into a well-behaved and obedient pet. Whether it's mastering basic commands or learning new tricks, Shayla is up for the challenge. For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. All animals are currently in MS. Mississippi is overpopulated with too many animals, not enough adopters, and many high kill shelters. For Pet's Sake Rescue saves each animal from a different background. ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations.We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible.*** For Pet's Sake Rescue transports animals to other states for better adoption potential. Our goal is to keep animals alive and out of kennels into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Each animal is quarantined and vetted during their time in our care. Each adopted pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and has current flea treatment unless otherwise noted. Once we review your application and check your vet reference, we will contact you to proceed. If both parties agree to the adoption, we will send you an Adoption Contract with an invoice. Once the invoice is paid, your pet is "on hold" for you to pick up or we can transport the pet to a designated location closer to you via transport. Transports are arranged for specific dates. We will discuss these dates and locations with you during the initial phone call. We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents.
